Hello all there,
given the scenario that i want to create an image of an ssd and restore it to ssd too.
1. Should I check the options: Align Partitions on 1 MiB Boundaries, Assume same target system?
2. Other Tipps/hints for backing up restoring ssds?
Greetings to this great forum!

Re: SSD to SSD Image
1 - yes, just a good idea to enable those, although if it's already aligned
it's not needed. If not aligned and want it aligned, after enabling those,
you'd use "align to target" on the restore.
2 - nothing special. You just do it. Make sure your SSD firmware is up to
date (some older ones would cause windows bsod if not up to date), use good
quality cables since they typically have the higher xfer rates.

Re: SSD to SSD Image
correct, if you restore it will be the same alignment of original.
