Re: IFL boot disk fails

I had not updated my own IFL boot SD cards to IFL289 and got curious.
I used Makedisk.exe and the only non-default change I made was inserting
the install code.

The SD card booted, perhaps with more messages than older versions.
Not sure. It does slow down @ getting networking info but has all along.

I ran an image to SD card and BFB validated. Everything came out fine.

I would very much like to know whether any hash files (sha1, etc) exist for the downloads so that I can check the integrity of what I am retrieving. Are any provided somewhere I may have overlooked?

Additionally, it may help if someone posted a hash of the file "iflnet.iso" created from the IFW program without inserting a product key so that I can compare mine with that of others.

Here are the md5sums for the CUI and GUI versions of the raw iflnet.iso file for IFL 2.89:
IFL (CUI) registered
9c11ddcbbc21a2359bb10a33d4eb5501
IFL (GUI) registered
b60693db506ba0250f3e2dc3a43dda57

Based on the "md:" messages that you posted in this thread, I have a test version of IFL available that is likely to resolve the problem you're having. For that, please send an email to TeraByte Support (support@terabyteunlimited.com).

OK, thanks for the feedback Mary. The pause at the network item is fairly normal.

Tom,

I very much appreciate your taking time to help and sending these hashes. Also, I have just now sent an email to "support@terabyteunlimited.com" with a copy of this post. I am not sure what else I should have requested in the email, but I believe that it does identify me as the OP. I will wait for a response from that email to find out how to retrieve the aforementioned test version. Let me know if you want something more from me. Thanks again.

Tom, your test version sent with email worked perfectly. Thanks a million for taking care of this issue promptly. There is no longer a big knot in my stomach. Take care.
