can't see My Book 3tb external hard disk

Hi

i have the lastest bootit bare metal
but it can't detects a wd my book 3TB

why?

a friend of mine give me acronis disk director 12 last version to test it and it gives me this error "cannot process 'Disk #' because its sector size is unsupported (4096 bytes)."

GParted dedected it and image for linux (with partition work tool )

If it's on a USB3 port , the BIOS must map it in as a drive when attached at
boot. Otherwise attach to USB2 port.

If you have Image for Linux full version and license for BIBM as well, you
can use partwork in the IFL GUI full version which supports USB3 natively.

hi
i got this error message , "bootit was unable to read from an area of hd5 which is required to properly manage it"

might you test this drive? will be fixed in the future update
i tried everything but nothing

Means it the BIOS reported an error when it asked the BIOS to read from the
drive.

If you have USB2, you can directly access it.

Hi
i found out this
if i turn my external hd on , and my desktop bibm works , i mean can detect my drive

i guess it's something related to the bios fast boot feature

maybe could be usefull to others
