Boot to Windows 8 Safe Mode

Post by Yottabytes »

If I disable Windows 8 fast boot, will I be able to create a menu entry in BootIt that will allow me to boot into Windows 8 safe mode? Also, I was told that choosing the advance mode of CD/USB media creation would allow me to enter the BootIt serial, which would eliminate the need for entering it when I booted IFW in recovery mode. Well I did that, and IFW still asks for a serial when I select "partition tools".

I presume you meant IFL - you'd have to enter both the name and key for
BootIt in those fields - if not correctly entered or found it would ask
again when trying to run. You can look and see if the BOOTITBM.INI file
made it to the /tbu folder and has the correct name/key in it.

on the safe boot, win8 safe boot isn't the same, but BIBM isn't going to
restrict anything - just it's not F8 it's something like shift-F8 and a
bunch of other nonsense.
