Yes, as far as I know this is a normal keyboard and mouse combination. It is the Microsoft Wireless Laser 7000 and has one usb drive connecter that receives both mouse and keyboard input. I am going to try and make an iso of the setup disk and then rename or remove the mouse.com, install that and see what happens. When the trouble first appeared I was using the Microsoft mouse and a Logitech keyboard both connected to a usb port. The bios was seeing two keyboards and two mice, thinking this was the problem I removed the Logitech keyboard and receiver and am just using the Microsoft. The bios now reports one mouse and one keyboard. I then cleared the ram in the motherboard and reset my settings. At first it appeared to solve the problem, but only temporarily as it is now back and sometimes the mouse works and sometimes it doesn't. I am seriously considering getting a different motherboard with a PS2 connection, which I had before and connect the keyboard to PS2 which would solve the problem. I will let you know if disabling just the mouse.com driver works.

Amazing, first it's "update your BIOS" every time a user has USB issues with
BiNG/BiBM/IFL and now with the very latest advancement of a UEFI which
replaces the aging old BIOS we're still getting the blame the MoBo
maker/BIOS line.

I'd have figured these products to finally be glitch free (USB) with the
advances from limitations of aging BIOS to state of the art UEFI, apparently
not.

AIUI, the problem is that BIOS writers have got lazy as all a BIOS has
to do with a modern OS is just to get it to boot and the OS itself
replaces many of the older BIOS functions. Unfortunately,
BIBM/BING/If* exposes those flaws. Unfortunately, the BIOS writers do
not seem to be interested in fixing something just to make a utility
usable - if the PC boots, their job is done.

Just, noticed this thread. I am having a similar problem with BING and an ASUS P8P67 MB. I think this is an ASUS issue not BING or BiBM. Anyone with another brand of MB with the P67 or later chipset having any legacy mouse issues?
anyone with a P67 MB have legacy mouse support working?

See my thread on this issue. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ucf/vi ... ?f=3&t=232
