Partitions keep getting set to Hidden

Post by click-click »

Recently, I am having a problem where even though I have hide set to none and the partitions set to unhidden, when I boot
into Win7 or Win8, the subject partitions are reset to hidden. Previously, I was always able to see these partitions with the
drive letters that I had assigned to them. I have no idea why the unhidden partitions are being hidden even though they have
been correctly set via BootIt. My setup is as follows: drive1 XP and Vista; drive2 Win7 and Win8.

Thanks for any pointers how to unstick this problem.

BING or BIBM? Direct Boot Menu or Normal Boot Menu? Limited or Unlimited
Partitions?

1.Bing 2.Direct Boot Menu 3.Limited. I manged to unstick this problem by also setting all the logical partitions to none.
Strangely enough one of the logical partitions would not accept none and I had to make it as-is. I've never had
this problem before when the logical partitions in the direct boot menu were all set to auto. All boot partitions are
set to none and unhidden.

Could something from BottitNG be corrupted somewhere which is not letting me select a specific hide option or
causing partitions to be hidden although selected to be unhidden?

Must be something else at play, but BING isn't supported any more. Note
that the settings are per partition highlighted (when booting that item
those settings apply).
