Apple Bootcamp

Is anyone running Windows 7 in an Apple Bootcamp partition, and if so,
are there any issues in creating Terabyte images of this partition?

No issues at all.
I also create images of the OSX partition and those work fine too.

Ah! I had just assumed that some specialized MAC program would be
required for that, as a separate backup.

Can you image the complete drive (all partitions)as I now do with my
three PC partitions using IFW?
Then that brings up the question about restoring an OSX partition?

You can use specialized mac apps but IFW can do it too from version 2.75 and later.

Yes, nothing changes with entire drive backups.
Have restored several times HFS+ partitions and did not encounter a problem yet.

Off course you can select individual partitions to restore. When restoring entire drive images IFW auto-selects everything; you only have to uncheck the drive icon and then it allows you to restore individual partitions.

thanks, I follow that since I am used to dealing with my two BING
partitions on my PC-selecting individual ones if needed. My only
concern is dealing with a total unknown for me - MAC computers, and how
the MAC partition behaves with Terabyte software.

After 23 years of PC's I feel like a total idiot. Just got my MacBook
Pro yesterday, and I am finding that what I know about PC's is almost
useless on the MAC, not to mention now dealing with a trackpad instead
of a mouse. Too old for new learning curve I guess.

Next step will be to install Boot Camp on the MAC.

Guess there are not a lot of MAC users in the Terabyte group. Your's are
the only responses I've gotten, and I thank you for that.

You are welcome.
Terabyte products do not have any problem with mac partitions except that they cannot save the images inside hfs+ partitions. (IFL can save inside on non journaled hfs+ partitions)
Since you are newcomer on the MACs, the most important app for disk management is Disk Utility and you can use it for partition management,imaging,etc. But can only create an image from an unmounted partition so one has to boot in the recovery environment's Disk Utility, to create an image of the OS.
Another program that may interest you is rEFInd boot manager

Another related question if I may:

you said earlier that you frequently make images of OS X partitions (I
presume with IFL), but above you are reminding me that you can only
create a MAC image from an unmounted partition. I know you do not
intend that these two references conflict, but could you clarify some
more, please.

Now, for an update:
After following Apple's how-to to create a driver disk for BootCamp
partition, and having it fail, I finally realized that although Apple
said to use a writable CD, the downloaded files totaled 1.02 GB (bad
fit). Fixed that with DVD.

Partitioning and sanitizing, and updating WIN 7 partition took more than
half day, but that's done.

I made an IFL image of whole drive - no problems there.
Only thing left is trust what I hear and go ahead and try a Restore
operation. So much to lose if it fails.
Someday soon when I'm feeling reckless.

to conjecture a bit: why do you think there is almost zero internet
discussion about using Terabyte or maybe some other imaging program to
do what I am doing-one image-both OS's?
Why are no Imaging software manufacturers not playing this up as a
feature (that includes you, Terabyte) IF it is doable. I know there are
lots of BootCamp users out there, and who wants to do separate imaging
on each OS?
