Has anyone come across a recent motherboard that does not have built-in
speaker for POST error code or BIBM beeps? Gigabyte A75M-DH2 with new AMD
FM1 socket does not have any. I build computers and have never ran into a
mobo that does not have one. Just curious. This is a nuisance with BIBM
without completion beeps/notification.

Re: mobo without onboard speaker
Is that the GA-A75M-D2H? From the manual it shows it has a speaker connection in F_PANEL. This is the normal speaker hook-up for almost all of my boards (I think maybe one has a speaker on the board itself).

OOps, yes. Yes it has an audio header, but almost all boards I have used
over the recent years had onboard speakers. Maybe this is a newer trend.
Thanks for response.
