You would need to use TeraByte Explorer from BIU. Not from Windows.

Assuming it's OK with TeraByte Support, this is what you do...

BIU
Run
tbexplo.tbs
File Explorer
the top line is already selected. Press Enter
You should now see some of your Dell.xxx
Select the first Dell.xxx (but don't press Enter)
press Spacebar on the keyboard. This will add a X
Select the next Dell.xxx (but don't press Enter)
press Spacebar on the keyboard. This will add a X
continue until you have selected about 10 items
press Delete on the keyboard
arrow down to select "Delete directory Dell.xxx"
press Ctrl + <P> (answers for all)(sometimes you have to press it twice)
you see it deleting directories
now you see your result. Ten Dell.xxx are gone
select the next 10 entries and continue as above
When you have deleted all Dell.xxx entries, press Esc, Yes

Partition Work
select the ESP
Properties

Brian,

I've gotten no responses on the Dell forum and in fact, I found a bunch of other threads/posts both in the Dell forums and in Reddit about the ESP getting full :( ....

So I'm going to try what you suggest above to delete most of the dell.xxx directories. I plan to leave the last couple of dell.xxx directories. FYI, I still have the BIU image file so worst case, I do another restore.

I'll post back in a bit..

Thanks!

BTW, off-topic question: When I am in BIU scripting and run a dir the first time, the output is fast. But if I run dir command again, out is really slow, like one at a time.

Is that a bug in BIU or something?

Thanks,
Jim

Superb. I assume Windows is still performing normally. Booting fine. By the way, does Windows seem faster on the larger drive.

By maths, the Dell.xxx were each around 5 MiB.

Hi Brian,

I don't think I noticed much difference in speed with the larger SSD and partition.

Also I did look at some of the dell.xxx dirs before I deleted them and a couple of them had a lot of directories under them, vs. most, which just had a logs directory.
