64-bit apps are a part of the grand security scheme of DEP,
CPU/MoBo/OS/Apps combo.

At least 'THEY' want 'US' to believe such.

On Sat, 4 Feb 2012 09:02:31 PST, just as I was about to take a herb,

The only problems that I have come across is some games from gog.com.
In spite of saying that some work on x64, they do not and I have XP
for those. The only other issue is 32 bit shell extensions. I did come
across an app that did claim to allow 32 bit extensions to work under
x64, but the one I was interested in did not play nice. I may install
a 32 bit file manager and get it working that way.

Hope ur keeping well Mary.
