Setting Up a Restore Partition with EMBR

Post by rkulp »

:?: I was going to set up a restore partition on a computer and used BootIT NG to look at the partitions. It had the restore partition on it so I had already started it when I bought the computer but did not finish. It had more than 4 partitions so was using EMBR. I want to remove one, slide the OS partition down and then build the restore using the article "Using MBR.EXE To Set Up A Restore Partition." I'm unable to find anything about doing this with an EMBR and am afraid to remove the EMBR as I just rebuilt the OS (Windows 10) and worry about losing everything.
So, how should I proceed?

if you don't use BIBM or BING, boot up to that, get the partition count down
to 4, then change disk type to mbr. Last, go to view mbr, w7 mbr, apply.
