automate limited image backups`

Post by markk42 »

I'm under my 30 day eval. I know I can schedule Image for Windows to create an image. How do I tell it to only create 3 images and on the 4th, overwrite the oldest?

I don't have the complete answer, but http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ucf/vi ... f=4&t=2251 may be relevant.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I tried creating a command line. First tried something simple like, "imagew /l /d:0 >list.txt". Couldn't do it from a cmd box or if I put it in a .bat file. Am I doing something wrong, or it isn't allowed in the trial version?

it's your redirection, it won't work unless already elevated. Start an
elevated command prompt then run it and redirection will work.
