DOS emergency disk
DOS emergency disk
Assuming IFW 3.0 is fully backward compatible will the DOS 2.x era recovery back-up disk suffice? Or should a new one be created for the 3.0 generation? Thanks.

Re: DOS emergency disk
To be more specific, can a 3.0 image be recovered by using a 2.x era DOS recovery disk ... or must a new 3.0 DOS recovery disk be created?

"No" and "yes" respectively. "The TeraByte drive image files produced
by Image for Windows are compatible across all TeraByte Unlimited disk
imaging products of the same major version number (i.e. all 3.x
products are compatible with other 3.x products)".

Re: DOS emergency disk
you nee to use V3.x to restore images created by 3.x unless it was created
using the /bc option with a level of something like /bcl:299
