Are .TBI files immune to being encrypted by Cryptolocker?

I'd be surprised if .TBI files were targeted, but for a definitive answer
you'd need to ask the author of Cryptolocker.

they are regular files so they wouldn't be unless the media they were on was
read-only.

OK. Thanks. I think I'll store some images in a partition that isn't in the partition table. That should be safe. I have stacks of storage space.

I keep some on DVDs. Have for years as a hedge against hard disk failure, but this is another good reason.
