Did something change

Starting partition work used to put me in BIOS mode. Now I am immediately put in BIOS Direct mode, which will hang my system if I do any bios operations (like edit bcd). Was this something that I changed, or was it done in the latest recent release.

Is it every time you boot into BIBM? On a system I just checked, if I pick BIOS (direct) mode it will stay in it until I restart or run IFD and use BIOS access.

"Bios direct" was permanent. "BIOS" was not even available as a selection. USB was the only other option.

Possible solution found:

I found BIOS=1 in the BOOTITBM.INI file, removed it, and seems to be the old way. BIOS is available again. What did I do to get it set that way? I don't want to do that again !!!!
