Upgrade version on the latter two mentioned????

If that works like Win 7, you may still be okay on your
existing computer if you need to reinstall.

It is an upgrade pack for Windows 8 to convert them in windows 8 pro.

Not true at all. You can buy a disk -
http://www.amazon.com/Windows-System-Builder-DVD-64-Bit/dp/B0094NY3R0
just like one could with OEM versions in the past, except now it is
called a system builder version.

It would be nice to get that confirmed for the download version - I do
not like the OS but as an enthusiast, would like to play with it on my
main (frequently upgraded) desktop too.
