UEFI Boot enabled in the BIOS

I don't understand this at all. I saw a brief thread in another forum and wondered if it is possible to image/restore partitions on HD0 in that computer? Or clone the HD to a SSD?

As we study it more, it's becoming more clear the UEFI/EFI is a derivative
of the copyrighted EMBR specification, think of it as the BIOS being the
EMBRL and booting the EMBRM. The EMBRM running in an environment with an
API available (we used to sell and publish the API for BING back in the 90's
before pulling it) and itself being an OS loader or launching an OS loader
(similar to booting the boot sector of a partition) which then loads and
boots the OS using configuration data about which item to boot (such as what
BING/BIBM do with boot items).

Currently you can, but it doesn't update the EFI System partition which is
essentially the same purpose as the EMBRM partition. But, 2.74 does and
that is just about ready (was supposed to be out today, but probably this
weekend), also BIBM 1.11 allows editing the BCD within the EFI System
partition.
