Thanks Mary. I can always log in to the forum with my web browser to
catch up with missing bodies.

I doubt that there is any problem with Agent, as I have been using it
for the last 15 or so years with no difficulties (apart from this
one). It works fine with many other news servers.

When it attempts to get the missing bodies it reports 'connection
closed unexpectedly by server', which indicates a problem at
Terabyte's end.

Agent is working fine here apart from a couple of threads.

Further, I have downloaded a message that does not appear when the NG
is viewed via the web interface. I was investigating why I could not
immediately.

I've seen that too. Unfortunately, when I have re-examined the forum
via the web interface I've then noticed that there was a 'page 2' that
I hadn't seen earlier! Doh!

Still can't download those 'EMBRLock' messages, though.

On further investigation, there seems to be a problem at Terabyte's
end when attempting to download messages which contain special
characters. In this particular case the 'TM' character in the subject
line appears to stop the downloads.

I've seen the problem with other Terabyte newsgroups where some
messages get stuck. (I have a Netbook which I take away on holiday and
I 'catch up' the messages on that machine.) Some messages have failed
to download from Terabyte during a recent 'catch up'.

I hope this information will help Terabyte sort out the problem.
