Software Organizer

Post by AlanD »

Do any of you folks have a preferred way to keep your CD/DVD software
discs organized - so that you can pull out the right one without just
pulling them out far enough to read each label, until you find what you
are looking for?

I am not motivated enough to try to create custom jewel case labels with
a printer, since software comes and goes and changes versions.
That is assuming I could even buy suitable stock to print on.

I just want to be able to see at a glance the disc titles.

Is this http://www.gentibus.com/ the sort of thing you are looking
for? It's free and fast (ooer matron).

clear sleeves or lots of tabs is first thing that comes to mind. There is
always cataloging where you log in it to a database and reference some color
and/or number and can go straight to it.

I am speaking of hardware (CD's and DVD's) which I want to be able to
find readily, not software

Tigerdirect once sold a CD/DVD storage rack that did what you seem to
want.
Not sure they still carry it though.
