IE 8, 9 & 10 crashing almost every time

Post by mjnelson99 »

I was having with IE 8 crashing a lot and installed IE 9. It
was still crashing, yet not almost every time.
Decided to try IE 10 and find out if it made any difference.
If anything, it is now worse.

Not sure a restore of an older image would do any good since
this has been going on for months & months.

Any suggestions?

I may need to do a clean install (win 7 X64) as much as I
don't want to do that.

Actually, I do have an image made Feb 2012 right after I
installed a few programs. I don't remember if I was having
problems with IE 8 then.

There is info online about IE crashing.

I saw one article saying they deleted one of the MS update
files. I uninstalled that one and found I am back to IE 9
and so far the crashes have stopped.

I changed NO settings in IE 9 either.
