Yes. However, you can also create the boot media normally (without that option) and just click the Cancel button when it boots to cancel the installation. You can then go to the desktop normally to work with partitions, image, etc. BIBM doesn't need to be installed to be used for partition work. It does need to be installed to be used as a boot manager.

Ron,
I tend to use Image for Windows rather than either IFL/IFD
because it is so much easier. Check out PHYlock and how it
works yourself. It is used when you are imaging from within
active Windows partitions.

Have been playing with imaging to an 8 GB SDHC card. So very
easy to do plus when I used TBI View it opened the image
file SO fast plus easy access to various directories within
the image file compared to messing with 2 DVDs that require
constant disk swapping. Ease would probably apply to an
image made to a hard drive as well.

Have fun using the Terabyte products. The image files all
work with each program making it a quadruple win.

Also, for the MBR for the extended partition, there was a warning in properties that the last volume should be fat16/fat32, and file system id should be 15 instead of 5?? Yet I've had no issues in Win XP.

If you really like that speed, then maybe the next generation of
laptops is something you'd like as well!

"Most PC giants have committed to building Ultrabooks. The laptops
typically use flash memory instead of hard drives, have no disc readers
in order to stay thin, and weigh less than three pounds."

Might want to wait a year or two AFTER release....price is high!

"You will be rewarded" means that is one perseveres with the product,
one will be rewarded by knowing how to use it properly. The 'reward'
is for the user in being able to use the program to its best.
