I have registerd BING but don't use it because I don't want to multiboot, and I don't want a tiny 8meg primary fat taking up a drive letter ...
has anyone ever ported gparted into an IFL iso?
or, ported IFL over to the parted magic iso?
IFL (or IFD) needs a partition manager ... edit -- or better, parted magic needs Image for Linux!
combine IFL with gparted?

It does not take up a drive letter, but it does take one of the four
primary partitions allowed if you chose to limit primaries.

You can install IFL in most distros.
eg. I use IFL inside Precise Puppy (it has gparted alread installed)

Molecule,
You do not need to install BING to use it to repartition,
resize, etc. Just boot BING from CD/DVD.
I could not use BING to repartition a 64-bit Windows 7
partition, though. BIBM can do that.
