IFL to same size

Post by mjnelson99 »

I also had trouble when attempting to restore an IFW 2.69
image using IFL 2.69. This was only hours after the initial
image was created.

I had to reduce the size of the 100 MB partition a bit in
order for the Windows restore to go through. It was a very
small number but big enough to cause a failure.

This could really throw a monkey wrench into doing a restore
in the future.

I guess I don't understand how the same sized partition
would fail so soon after creation. Or does the decompression
possibly change the over all size just a bit when doing a
restore?

When you deal with single partitions interactively, alignment matters (as it
would if you used the command line with the aligned restore option).
