IFL Restore

I just used IFL V3 bootdisk for a whole drive Restore operation, and
found what I think is an anomaly:
At the point after the backup drive is selected, and the location of the
folder containing the backups is found, I select the folder containing
the backups and expect the backup files to be displayed so I can select
the appropriate backup file, but:
clicking, double-clicking, right clicking on the selected folder does
NOT display the files, so I cannot advance to next window.
I had to manually type the backup folder name plus wild card file name
in the insertion box - such as: WINBACK\*.TBI
At that point I could see and select the appropriate backup file.
From that point on - no issues.

I do not remember ever having to go through this extra step before.
Is it me, or is there an issue?

You should be able to double-click or highlight and press Enter to open it.

Are you using the current version of IFL?

Is it only that folder that has the issue?

That's the way I thought it should work, but nothing happens when I do that

Alan,

I think I've "always" had that issue and at the same screen you mentioned. Using a different mouse fixes my problem. Or as Paul indicated, press Enter.

Hi, Brian
Interesting re: mouse, as I have switched to wireless from PS/2.
[I'll switch back and try Restore again]
Re: pressing 'Enter' there is no joy there, as I tried that (several times)

replacing wireless mouse with wired mouse fixes the problem.
kudos to Brian K for suggesting that.
