I can't help you with the Linux distro issues (hopefully TeraByte Support will have additional suggestions). But until they come up with a solution, at least try booting IFL from a USB thumb drive (use an old one or buy a cheap 1-2 GB drive for IFL only). Then it will load a LOT faster than booting from a CD/DVD.

I never was able to get a CD/DVD or thumb drive to work without having to enter my registration info.

I saw that 3.15 was out so I grabbed that and was able to get the GUI version to boot and run on both CD/DVD and thumb drive without asking for my credentials.

Then I got greedy and tried to get it to run from my live distro on the HDD. I was successful but I can only run TBIView (1.35) from the USB stick - I get the same old ncurses error when I try to run it from my 'live' distro.

Not perfect, but at least I can use it again.

there was no change so perhaps the wrong reg info was entered?

as far as ncurses, you need to ensure you have the correct 32 bit libraries
installed.
