In the IFW manual on page 126 describing specifying the location of the log file, it says "If you use paths and/or filenames with imbedded spaces, enclose them in quotation marks".
In fact, currently (IFW 306a) quotation marks must NOT be used in an entry in ifw.ini. I didn't experiment with command line switches, but using quotation marks in ifw.ini results in no log being written anywhere that I could find it whether or not the path and/or filename contains spaces. Conversely, not using quotation marks causes the file to be written in the expected location whether or not the path and/or filename contains spaces.

Re: Error in documentation regarding log file location
The issue has been noted. Thanks.
You would need to use the quotes when using the command line option (/logfile) if the path or filename contains spaces.
