you'd have to clear from the registry.

Thanks, no problem. Is there a limit to the size of the list or does
it grow continually? Maybe it would be useful to have a way within TBI
notify to empty the list?

Many thanks.

Your responses are getting so brief that their usefulness is greatly
limited. If the number of entries is adjustable, I wonder if you could
elaborate on the place where one would do this as I cannot find it at
all. There does not seem to be anything in the manual either.

I've created a shortcut to clear TBI Notify's log. The shortcut points to a task in Task Scheduler, which runs nircmd.exe* with the following command line options:

qboxcom "Clear IFW Notify history?" "" regdelkey "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TeraByte Unlimited\Image\SLog"

As you might guess, that command deletes the registry key where the TBI Notify log entries are located, after a prompt has been replied to.

If you don't care about being prompted, you could run the following command, which uses Windows' native reg.exe utility:

reg.exe delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TeraByte Unlimited\Image\SLog" /f

Of course, there are ways to be prompted without third-party utilities; I just have NirCmd for other stuff, so I used it. You can just leave off the "/f" for one way. But now that I think about it, I'm not sure why the hell I bothered with a prompt. Must have been a three-glass night.

Thanks for that. It would be so easy for TBU to have an option for a
certain number of entries and a button to clear all entries. Just to
leave the app to contribute to a larger and larger registry key is
just sloppy.

it already does have a limit and it's adjustable via a Max dword value in
the slog registry key. Default is 60, max 180.

Thanks for that.

Could you please make the TBI Notify window resizable?
