Yes, that was the failure point. When deleted the backup would compete
okay. If created again, the backup would fail...and with the same
error 94.

I only back it up rarely. I only need a backup for the UUID number as
it is common for all my Linux distros.

Then what you are doing is not an Entire Drive backup. It is a multi-partition backup. Terminology.

Does the backup still fail at the same point if you do an Entire Drive backup?

DrT,

TeraByte Support has hit the nail on the head. I can get a Code 94 error when doing a Changes Only backup if the latest partition wasn't in the Full backup.
