Can Image for Window mount/unmount drive in a script?

Hello,
I am very new to Image for Windows and am still learning all of its abilities. I primarily use a Mac at home, but am using IfW for a PC I also use. I use a backup program on the Mac that is able to mount the drive on a schedule, perform the backup, and then dismount the drive at the conclusion of the backup. As long as the drive is connected to the Mac, it will handle the mounting, copying and dismounting. This helps avoid any potential ransomware issues if they were to strike.
Does Image for Windows have the ability to do something similar? I am using the IFWRotate script to do a weekly backup and daily incrementals and it is working great, but wanted to see if I could also have it mount and dismount the drive as part of the process.
