Is it possible to do a virtual restore from an image created with IFW?

You can restore to a virtual disk and then setup a VM to use that disk. Or you could boot TBWinRE/TBWinPE/IFL/IFD in the VM and restore the image to the virtual disk. Also, TBOSDT includes the copyp2v script to copy or restore a system to a virtual disk and configure it for booting.

Is there something specific you're trying to do?

I´d like to update a six-month old Windows 7 image in a 10 Pro, without having to restore it, wondering how simple and fast the virtual process is. I think I´ll try the TBOSDT method, thanks.
