Error 94 while validating differential. New system memory

Postby jeffw_00 » Fri Mar 25, 2016 6:18 pm

Hi - I do a full backup once a week, differentials the other 6 days. No defrag enabled, and I recently replaced all the memory in the machine. New memory passes Memtest+. Things have been perfectly clean since I put in the new memory, until, starting about 10 days ago, I've been getting the same error signature almost every evening I do a differential (full backups are fine).

What I find new and different is the failure during validation.... Any thoughts or suggestions? THANKS!

/j

I had no failures since Jan 8, and then failures occurred on march 13, 15,16,17,18,23,24,25 (full backups on 12, 19) Weird....
(c:\ and d:\ are different partitions of the same 2TB disk)

1) Update to 2.99-00
2) Try without using /mp
3) Follow all items on http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=151 (make sure your new memory and timings are compatible for the mobo and using correct slots).
