USB imaging

I was hoping I could avoid installing yet another drive utility by using IFW to image my removable CF usb drive and restoring that image to another CF card. IFW will create and write an image file but the USB drives won't boot correctly. Is it not possible to create a USB drive image with IFW?

Yottabytes,

No problems using the TeraByte apps with USB flash drives. Make sure you create and restore Entire Drive images.

Do an entire drive backup/restore. Also ensure to use the "assume same
target system" setting. If booting OS dependent on signatures, ensure you
don't hook up two at the same time or the signature may be changed (you can
use the change disk id and guids options to prevent that). If nonstanard
boot code then adjust the number of first track sectors to 0 (means all), or
use the write standard mbr (would only apply if CF is partitioned). You can
always go raw too, backup entire drive with backup unused sectors checked
(raw sector by sector backup).
