IFD: Computer powers off shortly after Copy operation starts

I've been using IFD 2.93 and its predecessors successfully for years with the same computer configuration. I create a clone of my hard drive a couple of times a year. When I do it now (no changes to anything), it starts properly and then some amount of time, I'd guess around 30 minutes, into the copy I return to find the computer has powered off, and of course the copy, which normally takes about 7 hours, is not complete. Only one small recovery partition exists on the destination drive (one that completed before the power off).

Repeated it thrice with the same result. Unfortunately, it never caught the moment that it happens. No issue with battery, power supply, being plugged in, etc. (the computer works just fine under Windows indefinitely). Any ideas?

Note that the computer POWERED OFF, it did not reboot (if it had rebooted, it would be have rerun the IFD disk and I would see that screen).

Thanks!

either you have Power settings in your BIOS set to turn off after some
period, or it's shutting down due to overheating or something like that.

You can use Image for Linux if you like.
