Encrypted partition - incremental

Hello,
Are incremental backups of an encrypted partition viable or should you always do a full backup? I read the encryption guide: https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=462, don't think it mentioned it. Thanks.

It work work the same when the encrypted partition as normal ones. You
want to do it in the same method as the full (so if backed up encrypted,
you'd do that with the changes only, likewise if you mounted the encrypted
partition, you'd want to do that for the changes only as well, if using
bitlocker, use vss to get the data unencrypted).
