I have zero interest in a reduced-reliability method, however fast it may be. And I would prefer for the option not to be present at all, to eliminate the possibility of accidentally using it.

I bought into TB many years ago because of reliability, and it's why I stay. I find it bizarre how so few (any?) competitors even mention the ability to validate, much less doing so byte-by-byte.
