IFL DVD w/.TBIs Procedure?

Post by rks »

Hi all,

I would like to make a IFL bootable dvd and have my .tbi system image files on the same DVD. To do this would I use MAKEDISK and make a IFL .iso file then using an iso utility like PowerISO load the IFL .iso file and then copy the .tbi files to the .iso file in PowerISO then burn to dvd?

Thanks for reading..........

When you image using IFL to DVD, that disk is usually bootable. You may
need to change the boot device in the bios to do so.

Personally, I would rather keep IFL on a separate disk,
whether USB or DVD.

Once IFL is running from my USB card, the bootable device can be removed.

It would probably take 3 DVD's for me now so I am using USB hard drives
for imaging.

Thanks Mary. I do use usb harddrives to store images as you do but I feel a bit more secure with a copy burnt to dvd as well. My images are about 20GB so they fit nicely on a 25GB DVD.

Surely Blueray? A DVD only holds 4.7 GB
