Ok, I have a new shiny desktop, been some years since I had a desktop rather than a laptop. I want to image the C: drive with Image for DOS ... I proceed along and get the message about usb keyboards not working (maybe), and might doesn't.
Is there a way I can complete an image with a usb keyboard and mouse?

Re: USB keyboard and mouse
Thanks, I downloaded Image for Linux, created a boot usb, and it worked ... thanks.
I ended up with 2 files, .#0 and .tbi - is this normal? Do I need both?
Think I asked this once before - I am registered for IforDOS, but just ran the demo IforLinux - backup be ok?
And I can rename and move that backup ok?

The backup should be fine. However, you will want to download the full version of IFL. It's included with the purchase of IFD and is available from the downloads link.

Yes. If you want to check it after copying/moving you can run a validation on it.

Re: USB keyboard and mouse
Thanks.
Downloaded the full version and re-ran my backup, gave me a lot more options, did not need to move backup, I could put it where I wanted.
All well - love being able to image a new computer as a fall-back!
Thanks
Ken

Does this mean the #0 file can be deleted safely? or, is it required to restore an image?
