Another "cannot open *.#1" issue.

Post by DrTeeth »

Running 2.97d and have only just started getting this issue. I am doing incremental backups. I have been out of action for a while and the last version used was 2.97.

I have attached some screenshots from the closing down of last night's failed session as well as some excerpts from IfW.log; some which relate to last night's and some which relate to a similar episode a day or so ago.

How can this he fixed?

From a day or so ago:-

if you cancel the #1 prompt, it should still complete normally (just the
prompt for #1 that shouldn't prompt (/um may suppress that)). But since
it's not reproducible here, can you use the grab utility (from ftp site) to
grab the first 64k of each .tbi file from base to the
Backup-w0-0xB0-chg-2015-08-18-2351.tbi file and send them along with the
Backup-w0-0xB0-chg-2015-08-18-2351.#0 file via email (if too large, indicate
size and we can email back a link you can upload to).

I'll have to bear that in mind if the situation recurs. I am starting
off a further backup set starting from a new full backup.

Thanks

Just need that set as it is now (the .tbi file grabs from full base to the
based used (Backup-w0-0xB0-chg-2015-08-18-2351.tbi) where problem occurred
and the #0 file (Backup-w0-0xB0-chg-2015-08-18-2351.#0) of base where it
occurred).
