I am attempting to restore using Image for DOS from and external USB drive to a hard drive. The external USB drive is larger that the internal hard drive, although the backup file is only 9gb. I get the error "The destination is not large enoug. 286007 MiB required."

Based on the information at hand, make sure that you're restoring only
the desired image. This takes drilling down the path to the source
image and making sure that the source image is the only item selected.
It's very easy to inadvertently select the entire backup drive or a
subdirectory for restoration and you might get the result you saw.
(286007 MiB...)
