TrueCrypt and IFL

I used IFL to backup my Windows system to a usb hd. I am considering installing TrueCrypt on my system and wonder how it will change the way I have to backup. I assume that TrueCrypt will install a hidden partition on the drive. When I backup my system what partition do I use the C partition or the partition TrueCrypt creates? If I am wrong about the way TrueCrypt works, please enlighten me.

Also will be able to still use TBIView to open the images and extract certain files. Thanks. I am really happy with IFD/IFL/IFW. I always wonder what new features will be added in the future. I can't really think of any to suggest, except maybe in the version # in the image so that we can remember what version was used to create the images. I know that some images can't be restored using older versions. I try to keep the program current and I try to put the version # in the description. Keep up the good work.
