Window 8 boot/bcd issue

Postby BazzaAlpine » Wed Aug 08, 2012 9:31 am

Hi all,

I'm trying to install the latest version of Windows 8 but every time I re-activate the BootIT then try and load Windows 8 I'm getting a boot/bcd error. The only way to fix it is to repair the MBR and BCD but then I loose BootIT again. Has anyone else come across this?

Cheers.

See http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=492

also, double check your boot item, that it's booting the correct partition.

Edit the particular boot section and remove the Bing partition from the list. Note that this is only possible if you opt for more than 4 partitions.
