you could create an image backup, use tbiview.
Although I'd upgrade to BIBM.

I have a damaged d: drive, c: is okay. Winxp can't read the drive at all, it
shows it as healthy 100% free, no file system listed, and windows explorer
gives an IO error on it. Bing1.85 can show me the files on the drive, and
edit text files. It must be accessing the drive in a way that windows can't.
I know Bing can't recover files, but is there any recovery software I can
boot that will let me copy individual files from the damaged drive to the
working c: drive?
