Windows 8 consumer preview

Removing all other partitions from the Windows 8 boot item does not
have the other partitions invisible. Win 8 can access them
irrespective of the settings in BIBM.

Just a heads-up.

Did ya install BIBM first, then Win 8 beta, or visa versa?
Does such even matter?

Thanks,

Ed,

Edit... Ignore that. There is an ISO link somewhere.

DrT,

Not in my computer. BIBM is the same as always. If the partition is not in the MBR it is not present in Disk management. If the partition is hidden it doesn't have a drive letter in Disk management. Did you let Win8 see the partitions before you hid them in BIBM?

No. It works on a simple toggle irrespective of the order of
installation - or it does with every OS I have installed so far ;-).

I did not add any partitions to the MBR until after the install. Added
them post-install, had a minor issue which I would was related to them
being visible in Win 8 so cleared them (i.e. did not just hide them).
They still showed up in windows explorer and were accessible.

Seems to behaving itself now. I did delete the Win 8 partition earlier and recover it.
