I've been using XP on HD1 for a while now with another XP on HD1, I decided to install win 7 in place of the HD1 XP. Install was fine but now win 7 has taken over my booting. Initially my pc booted straight to the win 7 menu for win 7 or previous version. After some BIBM cd booting I could get the BIBM boot table back but when I try to boot to XP it goes to the win 7 option again. Reading the manual I see that I probably should've uased BIBM to install the win 7 via the "one time option".
I've since reinstalled BIBM and deleted win 7 from HD1 but still get the win 7 menu after BIBM menu, how can I remedy this situation ? I'd like to install the win 8 Developer ver also but will wait till this situation is resolved.
win 7 taking over after BIBM ?

Hope not too far off-topic:
Brian, you must have the key to finding the TBU KB index, since you
always have the answer as to which KB item is appropriate.
Please tell us where the index is located.
thanks

Alan,
I've been away fishing. No, I don't have a secret KB index.
