Does BIBM work with UEFI? Will using EMBR create a problem or conflict? Is
BIBM safe to use with this?
I searched the web site and found no references.

You can't currently use it if you want a GPT on the boot drive. The systems
still have a normal BIOS interface as well as the UEFI interface because
otherwise they would be pretty worthless for most users.

The problem is not with UEFI, it's with UEFI *with* Secure Boot, as
mandated by Microsoft for OEM installs of Windows 8.

If UEFI *with* Secure Boot is enabled by the manufacturer, then anything
in the boot chain needs to be "certified" or some such.

There have been tons of articles written about it recently:

Bottom line is that UEFI *with* Secure Boot will prove to be a serious
impediment to dual booting and/or using alternative bootloaders. It will
be up to the hardware manufacturers and OEMs whether of not the user
will be able to disable Secure Boot or not. Microsoft has passed the
buck on that.
