Bare Metal Futures

Here are some ideas for future versions of Bare Metal

1. When there is some free space ahead of a partition, let me resize the partition to flow into it. I currently have to do this is two steps, slide then resize.

2. virtual mode. I enter the usual long string of commands, but BM does nothing. However, the display updates AS IF it had done the commands. It is as if my disc were infinitely fast. I can also UNDO to pop the last command off the script stack.
When I get to the end, I can click "make it so" to actually do the commands, which might take an hour or more but I don't have to babysit them.

3. Intelligent mode. Mostly what I do with Bare Metal is adjust the side of partitions so that I have a suitable amount of free space on each partition.
I specify a list of partitions, and how much bigger or smaller I want each one to be. IM checks that this as feasible. Then I walk away. IM works out
a strategy of resizing, sliding and fiddling with the extended partition boundaries to get this effect.

All very nice and potentially useful ideas.

Not sure if this is possible:
How about a Pause function when you need more computer power briefly?
