Suggestion for new Menu Selection options

Can BOOTITBM be changed to allow #sig , {guid}, EMBR Name or MBR Name option alternative to selecting HD and partition?

My motherboard supports 8 sata connections. Unfortunately the SATA3 connections are on ID's 6 and 7. Every time I add/remove a drive or insert a pen drive, my BOOTITBM boot menu selections point to the wrong locations. BOOTITBM is on drive ID 0, so it is relatively safe, but the operating systems are on other drives, like the SATA3 ones !
Having an alternative method of selecting the partitions for booting and hiding would be very beneficial, and theoretically allow me to plug my hard drives into any connector that was available, without changing my BOOTITBM menu configuration.
Anyone else have the same problem?
