Unlock frozen SSD

I see that BIBM appears to do a secure erase on a SSD according to the manual, but only if not security frozen. My SSD is security frozen and the Intel Toolbox utility can't unfreeze this and says "Intel recommends obtaining a drive utility with Secure Erase ...". Where can I find something that can get around this security frozen state? Seems Intel suggest it can be done.

While not recommended, if you feel up to it, while in BIBM (just main
screen, not partition work) remove the power cable from the drive, then plug
it back in.

Or look in your BIOS to see if it has an option to not freeze the drive.
