Booting 2nd Copy of Windows 7

Post by sluk »

I've cloned a 2nd copy of Windows 7 using Bootit BM to another partition of the same HD but failed to get Booit BM to boot the 2nd Windows. BCD of my original Windows 7 was installed in a separated 100MB Recovery Partition, do I need to edit the BCD Store or I also need duplicate another Recovery Partition to link with the 2nd Windows 7 partition? Any hints and direction on how to do it will be much appreciated since there is nothing related mention in the manual or knowledge base of TeraByte Unlimited.

sluk,

Do this and you can have as many copies of Win7 as you desire....

Thanks...

Finally I created another 100MB BCD partition to hold the boot configuration of the 2nd copy of Windows 7 and manage to boot whatever copy I want via BootIt Boot Menu, both Windows 7 are sharing the same set of data partitions.
