Restore and then re-backup? I have never heard of the availability of
a conversion utility, but I stand to be corrected.

Not directly, if you have an older image to restore, you'd just use BING and
your new backups would use BIBM. If you have one you wanted converted,
you'd have to restore then backup (you could use a virtual drive).
